Welcome to Elementary Faith Formation at Saint Monica!
Faith Formation begins in the home as family and continues with support at St. Monica.
Welcome! Fr. Jack has shared with us that our catechetical focus will be the Baltimore Catechism. Together, we will learn the elemental and foundational truths of the Catholic Church. From Parish Family Ablaze down to Elementary Ed, we will build a common vocabulary, fellowship together, and grow in Christ. Family Events are also scheduled to accompany the Faith Formation calendar, and are designed to bring us together as parish family to bridge home, public, private, and hybrid schooling families with intergenerational families, to build relationships, friendships, and love for Christ. Our new approach includes students beginning in three larger groups of K-1, 2-3, and 4-5 to receive their “Lead Catechism.” Afterwards, Small Group Catechists will reinforce lessons in individual grade classrooms of K, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 with developmentally appropriate tools and activities. Scripture, prayers and our focus on the Creed will strengthen our faith. Class sizes are limited so please register early. We look forward to working with and supporting your efforts as primary educators!
Session Options
Two on-campus sessions are offered for Elementary, as well as a Home Study option.
Home Study families follow the same calendar and weekly lessons as the Sunday session. Lessons are required to be completed and submitted by the end of each month.

- Wednesdays from 6:30-8pm

Registration Fees
Catechist Discount $ 40 per child (Volunteers needed and must be approved by prior to registration)
Regular Registration $110 (after July 31)
