Advanced Giving opens November 18th!!
We are very excited for our 2024 #iGiveCatholic giving day! In the spirit of hope with Fr. Faublas and our twinning parish, Sacre Coeur in Hinche, Haiti, we will use this day to show that when many join together our impact is great. Although our goal this year is $50,000, we also want to surpass the number of donors.
Season of Giving:
Here we are in the midst of our Thanksgiving and Christmas season. For us it is a season of celebration and bounty. Even as our economy tightens we will still have parties and family get togethers with presents and meals.
That is a stark contrast to your brothers and sisters in our twin parish of Sacre Coeur. They will be depending on you for meals, healthcare, drinking water and a safe place to worship. Imagine your home being a small concrete block dwelling with one lightbulb in the center of the ceiling that can be used only if the electricity is on, no running water or bathroom. There will be no Christmas lights, trees or presents. Yet the Hattian people are joy filled and hopeful! We must continue our support of these beautiful people.
